The Hearn Generating Station is poised for a bold reinvention. Once a monumental power plant on Toronto\u2019s waterfront, the decommissioned site is now the focus of a transformative 30-acre redevelopment led by PARTISANS and SvN. <\/p>\n

At its heart, the proposal imagines a new civic landmark\u2014a sweeping mixed-use neighbourhood blending residential, commercial, institutional, and cultural spaces. Anchored by the preserved turbine hall, slated to be the largest gallery space in North America, the design integrates the Hearn\u2019s industrial legacy with sweeping glass additions and elevated green promenades.
